I’ve wanted jewelry for as long as I can remember. Middle school is when I got my hands on my first materials, a gift from a friend of my mom’s: beads, wire, a pair of pliers. I practiced. My work didn’t move me yet.

Senior year of high school, needing an elective to fill out my last semester, I took intro to jewelry making almost by accident. That’s where I soldered my first piece, a gold Libra symbol on a flat silver square, and something opened up in me. Tree of life pendants became my favorite thing to make for a while, then wire-wrapped crystals, each piece a little more technically sure than the last.

Somewhere in there I learned to trust my hands over a plan. I stopped needing to know how a piece would turn out before I started it. Now I work by feel, my hands moving through metal and stone, feeling for what a piece wants to be before my mind’s caught up. I have the skill to make just about anything work. I just choose to let my hands lead instead.

That’s why I make everything myself, start to finish. Every piece carries the energy I was in while I made it, and my hands are the only ones that can tell that particular story. People ask about wholesale, about scaling, about letting other hands help produce more. I’m not interested. This connection is the whole point.

Aurum Fera means Wild Gold. I chose it for how it feels in your mouth when you say it, rich and a little untamed and luxurious without asking permission. Wild here doesn’t mean unkempt or chaotic. It means alive, unapologetic, adorned exactly as much as it wants to be. That’s the world I want you to feel when you land here: feral and beautiful and completely put together at the same time.

I build with whatever tells the truth of a piece: raw and cut gemstones, wire, sheet metal, sea glass and shells I’ve picked up off actual beaches, rocks from hikes I couldn’t leave behind, dried flowers, sometimes bone, sometimes insects. The list really goes on.

You’ll feel the difference in your hands before you can explain it. I’m sensory to a fault, so everything gets finished until it feels right against skin, not just looks right in a photo. And because it’s hand-formed, no two pieces come out the same. That asymmetry means a person made it.

Making things makes me feel powerful, sexy, intentional, like the truest version of myself. I want that for you too. I want you to try something on and feel at home in it immediately, dressed as your higher self.

Right now Aurum Fera is mine, every piece through my hands and nowhere else. My baby. I’m not closed off to what it could become someday, but I’m not chasing that either. For now, this is exactly the size I want it to be.
